According to Dr. Norman Borlaug, the father of the Green Revolution, farmers must produce more food in the next 50 years than has been produced in the past 10,000 years combined – and they’ll need to do it in an environmentally sustainable way. Agricultural biotechnology offers growers the tools to produce more food, feed, fuel and fiber – and to reduce their impact on the environment by adopting practices that are both environmentally and economically sustainable.
