About CTIC

Who We Are

CTIC is a coalition-led accelerator of the best practices, technologies, and field support driving sustainable farming practices.

Members of CTIC include farmers, advisers, researchers, agribusiness leaders, retailers, conservation implementers, farm media, commodity groups, food companies, and others in the full food and agriculture value chain. The organization is also supported by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service, soil and water conservation districts, and other public entities at the federal, state, and local levels.

Since 1982, it has been our mission to champion, promote, and provide information on technologies and production methods that conserve and enhance soil, water, air, and wildlife resources, and are productive and profitable.

What We Do

We Build Resilient Agricultural Systems

CTIC acts as a trusted catalyst, delivering partnerships, data, science, and technologies that achieve greater adoption of innovative conservation practices in production agriculture while also stewarding natural resources.

We Drive Field-Level Adoption

CTIC is a leader and collaborator in projects that address conservation agriculture's most important topics: soil health, water quality, adaptation, and resiliency of the country’s producers. CTIC’s on-the-ground implementation projects, data and research for tracking conservation adoption trends, and annual Conservation in Action farm tour are exemplary, high-impact, and influential platforms for engaging leading partners and organizations to foster novel thinking and new ideas.

We Connect Data with On-Farm Decisions

CTIC is a clearinghouse of information for farmers, advisers, and industry professionals. Our resource centers provide registries for financial incentives for conservation management practices, local technical assistance, satellite data on land-use trends, analysis on profitability and risk management strategies, case studies, and farmer-to-farmer networks that pair producers with local, pragmatic peer support.

Board of Directors

At the heart of the Conservation Technology Information Center lies a dedicated and diverse group of professionals who lead our organization with vision, expertise, and a shared commitment to sustainable agriculture and environmental conservation. Our Board of Directors comprises individuals who bring a wealth of experience and knowledge from various fields, uniting to drive CTIC's mission forward. Our governing body guides our organization, shapes our strategies, and helps us navigate the ever-evolving landscape of conservation technology and agriculture.
